It's really easy. All you need is a bunch of shells, glue gun and a mirror with a frame. I used the smaller,flatter shells to form my bottom layer and then used the rarer more decorative shells to form a pattern on top. Then I used the largest shells to form a bonnet at the top. Make sure you use alot of glue. It will form glue like webs ,but those are easily removed at the end. Hang only in doors if you are using a glue gun. I found my mirror at a garage sale for five dollars. These mirrors sell in designer shops for $300 and more.
