Gotta love Ulta

If you've never been to Ulta, you really must check it out for great bargains galore. The store is similar to Sephora. It carries both drugstore and department store cosmetics, hair products, and perfume. They also have a high end salon on premise. If you sign up at there website http://www.ulta.com/ they will e-mail you weekly coupons that you can use in there store. My favorite thing to do is scour their clearance areas. Products are usually marked down 50-60%. Sometimes they run specials where you can take another 40% off clearance. They also accept the $3.50 off a $10.00 purchase on clearance. They have been running a check out special lately that if you sign up for a 2 month risk free InStyle magazine subscription, you get a gift. I have received a really nice tote bag and a full size tube of Baby Phat body lotion. You can sign up as many times as you want. Just call the toll free number to cancel the magazine if you don't want to be billed for it. When you go to the store sign up for their frequent buyer card. They mail you coupons for free products when you've spent at least $50 in a given cycle. The more you spend the more free stuff you get. I got all of this yesterday for $7.00. There is a store located by Hooters on 41 in Sarasota and a new one in the Target shopping center on University Parkway. Have fun!!

Computer crash

I have become so dependent on my computer in the last year that when it crashed 2 weeks ago, I was like an addict going through withdrawals. Apparently the source of my computers demise was due to certain sources ( I'm not mentioning any names ) my obsession with freebie sites. After some careful calculations it has been determined that my freebie habit is costing me in computer repair bills approximately $300 a year. I would say that is a lot of enjoyable entertainment for a year. Other then the headaches it has caused me , it was worth every penny.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Greatest find of the week! While digging through the games at the 50% off goodwill on the trail, I thought I hit the jackpot when I found a plastic baggie full of Pokemon cards for Ben sitting in a box with some other random items. The final price after discount for the whole box was $1.oo. When I got the box home and looked through it I found a Nintento gameboy advance with a game in it. It was covered with stickers so I cleaned it up and went to the store to get a power cord. It charged right up. Used ones like this sell for $39.99. Ben has not put it down for 3 days. $1.00 has bought me alot of peace and quiet. Amen! P.S. Also got monoply junior for $1.00 too at the same store.

Free stuff week of 8/25-8/30

This was kind of a slow week for freebies. The best was the Gift pack from Sturdiwheat company. They're a small company out of Redwing, Mn.
